From steampunk fashions to formal bridal accessories to one-of-a-kind head pieces to boho sheik jewelry. Marelle's creations are truly wearable art pieces. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, purses, furs, bouquets, sashes, vintage accessories and treasures, no matter what you prefer you deserve the very best and that is what Marelle brings to you- the absolute very best. Only One for the One and Only You.
Over 95 percent of all items in our accessory line are made from
previously loved, vintage treasures. They are chosen for their
appearance and the feel of the piece. It is true that an object holds
onto the energy of it's previous owners so I am very careful when
acquiring these vintage treasures. These treasures are transformed into necklaces, bracelets, sashes, purses, and bridal wear and so much more. Marelle's custom work is also to die for!
All of the accessories from Marelle's line are made with vintage jewelry and haute couture accessories. Many rescued and well loved pieces that time forgot are given a stunning new life. They are turned into timeless pieces of art. The supplies for this particular line were acquired by a little lady called Mama. Her and her husband collected vintage jewelry for over 65 years. After he died Marelle met Mama at the local flea market while trying to make a little extra money for her medications. Her husband would fix the broken pieces and she would sell them. Mama spoke often of her love for her late husband and their rare and endearing bond. So touched by her stories, Marelle bought the entire lot of jewelry. Mama was delighted. In fact, most of Marelle's supplies come from the senior citizens and disabled people trying to get by at the flea market.
Marelle finds great joy in helping the less fortunate and recycling a bit of history whenever possible. Also, a portion of the proceeds from the sales of her jewelry go to fund her Hopscotch exhibit for the blind.
